France finished their Under-20 Six Nations Summer Series with a flourish as they saw off Georgia 44-17 in Treviso.
The Junior Lelos started the stronger with an early 10-0 lead thanks to Alexandre Kuntelia’s opening score, but France fought back with three tries before half-time to lead 17-10 at the break.
Gatien Massé crossed twice, with Benjamin Boudou adding another on the stroke of half-time to put Les Bleuets in control.
They lost Thomas Moukoro to a red card early in the second half, but still extended their lead thanks to a penalty and then a score from Louis Bielle-Biarrey.
Twice France were reduced to 13 thanks to yellow cards, with Georgia taking advantage to get the score back to 27-17 when Lasha Tsikhistavi crossed.
But a Max Auriac penalty and then length-of-the-field score from an interception put the game to bed for France, with Léo Banos adding some gloss with a final try.
